Basically I'm just a 23 year old Vegan Environmentalist, and ever since reading Naomi Klein's "This Changes Everything" I've held the fundamental belief that within the capitalist system we're essentially doomed to no progress on climate change. So I've dedicated myself to grassroots activism, mainly through building an audience and speaking on/promoting other causes. I've really wanted to use this for more though, and obviously that's where I figured attending Solar Supercharge could help me. I'm passionate about the planet, it's the only one we have, and we should be taking better care of it, and its inhabitants, especially when the only boundaries are just these not-entirely-real arbitrary ideological systems (Capitalism, Economics) I believe we can solve these problems together, if we're passionate enough :) 

Why I want to go to Solar Supercharge

As a political and social activist I would like to gain the extra knowledge and skills necessary to move my audience into action, especially regarding renewable energy, as I see climate change to be the most important issue of our time.
